Dr. Angel Brown is a licensed pharmacist with more than 20 years of experience spanning clinical pharmacy practice, pharmacy operations, regulatory compliance, medication safety, and healthcare leadership. Throughout her career, she has successfully led pharmacy teams ranging from individual retail locations to multi-state operations.
Dr. Brown earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center and maintains pharmacist licensure in both Texas and Oklahoma. Her professional expertise includes medication safety, pharmacist standard of care, drug utilization review, pharmacology, toxicology, medication errors, drug-drug interactions, regulatory compliance, and pharmacy law.
Angel started her career and spent over two decades with Brookshire Grocery Company, culminating in her role as Director of Pharmacy Operations. In this executive position, she directed pharmacy operations across 139 pharmacies in four states, supervised a leadership team of district supervisors, managed multimillion-dollar budgets, developed company policies and procedures, and implemented a comprehensive Pharmacy Error Prevention and Quality Assurance Program focused on risk reduction and patient safety.
Angel transitioned to Walgreens in August 2023 due to acquisition of Brookshire’s Pharmacies. She served as Pharmacy Manager with Walgreens, overseeing high-volume pharmacy operations while providing direct patient care, medication counseling, immunization services, and medication therapy management. Earlier in her Walgreens career, she served as a District Supervisor, providing operational oversight and compliance management for 22 pharmacies across Texas and Arkansas.
Most recently, in April 2026, Angel transitioned into long-term care pharmacy and joined Infinity Pharmacy Solutions in Richardson, Texas as the Pharmacy Manager. As Pharmacy Manager, she will oversee daily pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe, accurate, and timely dispensing of medications to residents in skilled nursing and assisted living facilities. Angel will lead and develop pharmacy staff, maintain compliance with state and federal regulations, and collaborate with healthcare providers and facility leadership to optimize medication management and patient outcomes.
